Series 3300 - Speciating Mercury CEM
The Tekran® Series 3300 Mercury Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) represents the only system proven for both accuracy and reliability. The Series 3300 can measure total, elemental and ionic mercury in virtually any combustion source. The system is sensitive enough to measure levels at any coal fired power plant and is immune to stack gas interferences that plague conventional mercury CEMs.

Laboratory Products

Series 2600 - Automated Water Analysis System
Offering unparalleled performance and flexibility for those who require truly sensitive total mercury analysis, the system can implement a wide range of analytical techniques. Unlike conventional systems, the Series 2600 is available in multiple formats, with flexible pricing options. The system can perform virtually any type of ultra-trace total mercury analysis. The Series 2600 is designed for easy migration from a starter system to a fully automated, high throughput configuration.

Model 2500 - CVAFS Mercury Detector
The Model 2500 Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescence Spectrophotometry (CVAFS) detector has an absolute detection limit of < 0.1 pg of mercury. The system is available with either an adjustable ball flow meter or precision mass flow meter. The latter option allows remote control and readout of the carrier flow rate. The detector can be used with any analytical system capable of producing mercury vapor in an inert gas stream.

Ambient Air Products

Model 2537A - Mercury Vapour Analyzer
The Tekran® Model 2537A Ambient Mercury Vapor Analyzer provides continuous ambient monitoring of total gaseous mercury (TGM) with a detection limit of < 0.1 ng/m3 (25 PPQ vol) and an update rate of 2.5 minutes. An internal permeation source provides automatic recalibration, allowing completely unattended long term operation. An RS-232 serial port, programmable analog outputs, and a full complement of status and control lines allow use with dedicated printers, chart recorders or data acquisition systems. The analyzer is suitable for laboratory, field or mobile use and is designed to integrate easily into existing monitoring networks.

Model 1130 - Mercury Speciation Unit
The Tekran® Model 1130 Mercury Speciation Unit gives the Model 2537A Mercury Vapor Analyzer the ability to simultaneously monitor both elemental and reactive gaseous mercury (RGM) species in ambient air. Although the majority of atmospheric mercury is present in elemental form, differentiation is important due to the greater local impact of reactive (ionic) forms. (Reactive mercury has much higher wet and dry deposition rates than does elemental.) Speciation is of particular interest close to industrial sources such as waste incinerators which may discharge the majority of their mercury emissions in ionic form, in particular, mercuric chloride (HgCl2).

Model 1135 - Particulate Mercury Unit
The Tekran® Model 1135 Particulate Mercury Unit is used together with the Model 1130 Speciation Unit and the Model 2537A Mercury Analyzer to simultaneously monitor particulate bound mercury (HgP), elemental mercury (Hg0) and reactive gaseous mercury (RGM) in ambient air. The system allows fully automated, unattended operation with all three components being concurrently measured.

Accessories
Tekran has developed a number of accessory products that dramatically increase the utility and measurement capabilities of the basic Model 2537A Mercury Vapour Analyzer. Our customers are using the Model 2537A for a variety of applications that we never envisioned. As new uses are developed, the list of front end accessories will continue to grow.

Natural Gas Products

Model 2030 - Heated Cartridge Sampler
The Tekran® Model 2030 Heated Cartridge Sampler allows gold coated sampling cartridges to be heated while they are exposed to a variety of gaseous sample matrices. (For example, ambient air, natural gas or process gases.) The performance of gold adsorbent cartridges is greatly enhanced if the cartridges are heated during exposure. This virtually eliminates problems with condensation of passivation of the gold surface.

Model 2505 - Calibration Unit
The Tekran® Model 2505 Mercury Vapor Calibration Unit provides an accurate and reproducible means of injecting a known quantity of elemental mercury vapor into any analytical system. Since the vapor pressure of mercury is a well known function of temperature, only the volume injected and the temperature of the vapor need be known in order to determine the amount injected.

Model 2600 - Heated Cartridge Sampler
The Tekran® Model 2600-NG Mercury Analyzer is designed for the analysis of gas phase sample cartridges. The system contains an atomic fluorescence detector, a dual stage thermal desorber and a data acquisition and control system. A single serial connection allows a Windows based PC to control the entire analysis process, acquire the detector output and calculate final results.
